Ziyu He is a First Prize, Composer's Prize, Mozart Prize and Bach Prize winner at the 2016 Menuhin Competition. Just a year later, aged only 18, he made his debut with the Vienna Philharmonic - one of their youngest ever soloists. He has performed with orchestras such as the Mariinsky Orchestra St. Petersburg, the Macau Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra. Ziyu is also a dedicated chamber musician and plays with the renowned Altenberg Trio. He plays a violin by Andrea Guarneri from 1688 and a Giuseppe Guadagnini viola from 1797, kindly on loan from a private patron.
