Yyun-Su Shin

Zia Hyunsu Shin is an internationally performing soloist and the winner of the Second Prize at the 2002 Menuhin Competition. An early admittee to the Korea National University of Arts Preparatory School, she studied under Nam-Yoon Kim and earned top honours at violin competitions all over the world. A noted performer in her home country of South Korea and all over Asia, Zia played on some of the most prestigious stages in the region. In addition to her stage activity, she is an active online personality across social media channels. Zia plays on a Guadagnini, on loan from the Kumho Asiana Foundation.
