Jung-Yoon Cho is a prize winner at the 1998 Menuhin Competition. After making her concerto debut with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra that same year, she has regularly performed as a soloist in South Korea and London. She studied with Tomodata Soh and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, before earning a doctorate from the University of Leeds, focusing on late nineteenth-century performance practices. She sits on the review board of notable musicology journals and and has been invited as a lecturer to institutions such as the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Royal Academy of Music and Leeds University.
