Yoo Jin Jang

YooJin Yang is an internationally acclaimed recitalist and an Assistant Professor of Violin at the Eastman School of Music, a position she has held since 2020. A prize winner at the 2004 Menuhin Competition, YooJin studied with Nam Yoon Kim at The Korean National University of Arts, and with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory. YooJin performs as a soloist with orchestras throughout the United States; highlights of her international stage activity include performances with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Bulgaria National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and Spain’s Extremadura Orchestra. She is a recording artist for KBS and a co-founder of The Kallaci String Quartet.
