Yehun Jin

Danny Yehun Jin is assistant principal second violin with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 2023. A prize winner at the 2012 Menuhin Competition, Danny is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Ida Kavafian and Erin Keefe. Before that, he studied at the Korean National University of Arts and the Korean National School for the Gifted in Arts. Previous to joining the CSO, he held positions as concertmaster of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra and the Music Academy of the West Orchestra. In addition to his orchestra duties, he has appeared as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic, Suwon Philharmonic and Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
