Composer's Prize
Zeyu Victor Li is a violist in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, which he joined in 2019; he was previously a member of the New York Philharmonic. The winner of the Composer's Prize at the 2012 Menuhin Competition, Zeyu is a Curtis Institude graduate, having studied with Ida Kavafian, Aaron Rosand, and Pamela Frank. He has performed as a violin soloist with renowned orchestras, including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony, Shanghai Philharmonic, Sendai Philharmonic, Brevard Symphony, and Calgary Philharmonic, and has performed with many distinguished conductors, including Maxim Vengerov, Tan Dun, Cristian Măcelaru, and Jamie Laredo.
