Viatcheslav Chestiglazov

Slava Chestiglazov is the concertmaster for the WDR Symphony Orchestra in Cologne, Germany, a post he has held since 2010. A prize winner at the 2000 Menuhin Competition, he studied with Lev Ivachenko at the Special Music School of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, and with Zakhar Bron at the Reina Sofía School Of Music in Madrid and at the Cologne University of Music. A noted soloist and recitalist, he has shared stages with prestigious orchestras in Europe, including the Galicia Symphony Orchestra, the Leon Symphony, the Valencia Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra.
