Tasmin Little

Tasmin Little was awarded a scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School at age 8 and undertook her university studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She competed in the inaugural Menuhin Competition in 1983 and in 1985. She has also returned to serve as a juror in 2012 and in 2016. Tasmin has enjoyed a highly successful career, performing with prestigious orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, London Symphony, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic. In 2012, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and in 2023 was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), for her services to music.
