Taiga Tojo is a two-time laureate of the Menuhin Competition, having won Third Prize in the 2012 edition and Fourth Prize in 2010. He is currently a second violin with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, with which he performs on Japan's most prestigious stages, collaborating with renowned performers and conductors. As a chamber musician, he is a member of the Regulus Quartet, a notable presence in many of the country's renowned venues. He studied with Koichiro Harada and Asako Urushihara, and made his soloist debut with the Tokyo Philharmonic at the age of twelve.
