Stephen Kim

Stephen Kim is a sought-after soloist, performing internationally for renowned orchestras across Europe, the United States and Asia, and on festival stages in the US. A Fourth Prize winner at the 2014 Menuhin Competition, Stephen graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Shmuel Ashkenasi, Joseph Silverstein, and Aaron Rosand, and furthered his education at the Juilliard School with Hyo Kang. Stephen is currently pursuing Professional Studies at the Kronberg Academy with Antje Weithaas. Stephen plays the 1725 “ex-Moller” Guarneri del Gesù, on generous loan from the Samsung Foundation of Culture of Korea and the Stradivari Society of Chicago.
