Simone Lamsma

Dutch violinist Simone Lamsma has been a guest of many of the world's leading orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Orchestra di Santa Cecilia. She has worked with eminent conductors like Jaap van Zweden, Sir Antonio Pappano, Paavo Järvi, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Vassily Petrenko amongst others. Simone is an in-demand recording artist and her latest recording with the Malmö Symphony and Robert Trevino for Ondine included late Rautavaara works. She is the Artist in Residence for the 2023-2024 season with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music.
