Robyn Bollinger is the concertmaster of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and a prize winner at the 2006 Menuhin Competition. Highly active in debuting new music and in innovative projects, Robyn is a frequent guest concertmaster with the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Indianapolis Symphony and the St. Bart’s Music Festival Orchestra, a former member of Boston's A Far Cry and a sought-after collaborator and recitalist. She is a former faculty member at New England Conservatory Preparatory School in Boston and Brandeis University, her major teachers including Soovin Kim, Miriam Fried, Paul Biss, Paul Kantor and Lyle Davidson. Robyn currently plays on a 1697 G. B. Rogeri on generous loan from a private collector.
