A member of the Grammy-winning Ying Quartet, Robin Scott won Second Prize at the 2006 Menuhin Competition. An associate professor of violin and string chamber music at the Eastman School of Music, Robin was a student of Miriam Fried, Donald Weilerstein, Mimi Zweig and violist Kim Kashkashian. Robin has appeared as a soloist with the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Montgomery Symphony, Orchestre National de Lille in France, and many others. He has given numerous recitals and performances throughout the United States and abroad, in such venues as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall and the Schubert Club in St. Paul, Minnesota.
