Piotr Kwaśny

Piotr Kwaśny is a tutti violin with the Polska Filharmonia Baltycka. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Yumi Scott and Ida Kavafian, and of the Lübeck Academy of Music, where he studied with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Wilfried Laatz, he is a prize winner at the 1995 Menuhin Competition. An active chamber musician, he collaborates with the New Art Chamber Soloists ensemble, where he plays as first violin, and has appeared in music festivals across Europe. He has held his current post with the PFB since 2014.
