Nakyung Kang

Nakyung Kang studied at the Korean National Institute for the Gifted in Arts in South Korea with Professor Nam Yun Kim. She has performed with orchestras across South Korea, including the GMMFS, KNIGA, KNUA Symphony, Cheongju, Ulsan and Gangnam orchestras. She has won numerous prizes at competitions, including the Kloster Schöntal Violin Competition (2015), Menuhin Competition (2016), International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians (2017), the Singapore Violin Festival & Competition (2017) and the Isangyun Competition (2021). She also received the Seong-Yawng Park Prize at the Isangyun Competition.
