A member of the Bern Symphony Orchestra since 2006, Jeanne de Ricaud won the Second Prize at the 1995 Menuhin Competition. After seven years in Suzanne Gessner's violin class at the Conservatoire National de Région de Paris, she studied with Jean-Jacques Kantorow at the Paris Conservatoire between 1996 and 2000. She continued her studies in 2001 with Zvi Zeitlin at the Eastman School in Rochester/NY. From 2001 to 2004 she was a member of the International Menuhin Music Academy and continued her studies with Alberto Lysy in Blonay. Prior to her engagement with the Bern Symphony Orchestra, she spent two years with the Biel Symphony Orchestra.
