Je Hye Lee

Jehye Lee, prize winner at the 2004 Menuhin Competition, is First Principal of the Second violins in the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. She previously featured as concertmaster for the Augsburg Philharmonic. A student of Nam-Yum Kim in her native Seoul, Jehye earned a master’s degree in performance with Miriam Fried at New England Conservatory, before perfecting her playing under Ana Chumachenco. As a soloist and recitals, she has performed in prestigious concert halls, such as the Seoul Arts Center, Dvořák Hall in Prague’s Rudolfinum, the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux and Jordan Hall in Boston.
