A prize winner at the 2014 Menuhin Competition, Jaewon Wee made her recital and solo debuts at age eleven, and has appeared with world-renowned orchestras as a soloist, including the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, San José Chamber Orchestra, The Juilliard Orchestra, and many others. Jaewon graduated from the Juilliard School under Ronald Copes, then moved on to the New England Conservatory to study with Donald Weilerstein. Further mentors and teachers include Nam Yun Kim, Koichiro Harada, Takashi Shimizu and Cho-Liang Lin. Jaewon plays on a 1784 Lorenzo Storioni violin, on a generous loan from the SooYoung Art Trade in South Korea.
