In 2018, Guido Sant'Anna became the first South American artist to win a prize at the Menuhin Competition, where he was also awarded the Chamber Music Award and the Arte Online Concert Prize. In 2022, at only 17 years old, Guido won First Prize at the Kreisler Competition and shortly after made his major European debut at the Rheingau Musik Festival 2023 with hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt and Alain Altinoglu. Guido is currently studying at the Kronberg Academy, Germany, under the tutelage of Mihaela Martin. He performs on a violin made in 1874 by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, on generous loan from the luthier Marcel Richters.
