Evgeny Sviridov, winner of the Third Prize and the Bach Prize at the 2008 Menuhin Competition, holds the position of concertmaster for the ensemble Concerto Köln (since 2015), and teacher of baroque violin at the High School of Arts Bremen (since 2018). As a prominent baroque violinist, he regularly performs in major festivals and venues in Europe, sharing stages with musicians such as Andreas Scholl, René Jacobs and others. Evgeny is a prolific recording artist, both with ensembles and as a soloist, releasing music for ERP, Genuin and Ricercar. He plays on a 1732 Gennaro Gagliano in Naples in 1732, on loan by the Amsterdam foundation Jumpstar.
