Jewgenij Andrusenko is a member of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra (since 2005) and the Vienna Philharmonic (since 2008). A Third Prize and Bach Prize winner at the 1991 Menuhin Competition, Jewgenij began his studies with Bogodar Kotorovich in the USSR, before moving to the Vienna Conservatory to study with Boris Kuschnir. His first permanent position came with the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra, and he has been a mainstay in Viennese orchestras since. Jewgenij has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe, Russia, Asia and America. Several composers in Moldova and Austria have dedicated their works to him.
