Alina Ibragimova MBE is a regular performer at London’s Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Berlin’s Pierre Boulez Saal, Salzburg’s Mozarteum, Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie and at the Royal Albert Hall - even appearing on the BBC Proms. A graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School and a Second Prize winner in the 2000 Menuhin Competition, Alina is a prolific recording artist for Hyperion Records, with releases topping the classical charts and earning her a Gramophone Award. She studied with Valentina Korolkova, Natasha Boyarsky, Gordan Nikolitch, Christian Tetzlaff and Adrian Butterfield for Historical Performance, and performs on a c.1775 Anselmo Bellosio violin kindly provided by Georg von Opel.
