Alexandra Korobkina

A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory under Savely Shalman, Alexandra Korobkina has performed with the main symphonic orchestras in her native Russia, and on stages across Europe. After earning a Sixth Prize at the 2002 Menuhin Competition, Alexandra has taken part in a number of festivals, including the Copenhagen Summer Festival (Denmark, 2006), the 12th International Festival 'Musical Olympus' (Saint Petersburg, 2007), the International Festival 'The Time of Music: fin de siecle' (Saint Petersburg, 2007/2008), and the International Festival Musical Collection (Saint Petersburg, 2008). Alexandra is also active in music education, with masterclasses given at the 35th-prize Summer Music festival in Nagold.
