Setting a world record of entries to a violin competition

The Menuhin Competition 2014 has received a record number of 275 entries from 27 countries. That's a world-record among international violin-competitions.

An international Pre-Selection jury panel has selected 20 Junior and 22 Senior candidates. Find out more about the 42 outstanding young talents that have been invited to take part in the Menuhin Competition Austin 2014.

Application deadline for the Menuhin Competition Austin 2014 was 7 October 2013.

The Menuhin Competition takes place every two years and is open to violinists from all over the world under the age of 22.
